I continue to try and lay down a section of stitching each day on my dream blanket. This is what I did over the weekend, a section using the mended bits of my favorite pair of jeans (which had become so threadbare that couldn’t mend them anymore!) and another with my memories of flower gardens.
Today I am grateful for everything.

This is beautiful 🙂 So, it’s like a patchwork blanket where you put different stitches/words/patterns etc on it randomly?

Yeah, it’s bits of cloth from old clothing, dish towels of my grandma and mom that I’ve dyed, and the embroidery is all things that mean something to me, be it dates, symbols, etc. I hope to make it big enough for my bed. Long way to go, but am enjoying every stitch of it!
